I just can’t complain about this weather – even though it is gloomy here and there – we still don’t have to shovel or pump it. I am just happy to walk out to my car and not shiver from bone chilling cold. Easter was quite nice with the family and I am looking forward to having the film developed – so I can smile at the Easter egg hunt.
Soon classes will be over and I can again focus my attention on my book. There are also lots of audio visual things I want to do on the computer. Expanding this web site is also a summer time goal.
Now that I have officially reached old age at 65 – and really appreciate the concept of being alive and engaged – the years speed by even faster. During my mom’s last year on earth she often lamented that when you are the one doing the living – 90 years is really not that long. I agree.
The air seems fresher – the color of the flowers deeper and the fragrance of spring sweeter.
