raked most of the heavy leaves off the lawn as they continue to fall at a steady stream. Not a tree in my yard sheds leaves, but the neighbor’s trees umbrella my yard with it’s great boughs of shade through the summer are hell to deal with in the fall! Almost done with the first round. Randy’s crew will get the next round and haul it all away. I can’t thank my son enough for this kindness and thoughtfulness that makes it possible to live here in Mom and Dad’s home and make it my own.
I sit in the living room in my ratty old second hand comfy chair and watch the change of seasons through the wall of window in the kitchen dinnig area. This fall at it’s most brillant. This window is like a hugh canvas that morphs from day to day.
Enough of that! Time to tackle the rest of those leaves.
