First Snow of the Season

Ya…..awoke to snow!  A velvety puffy covering that’s giving the early holiday season a magical feeling.  Turn on the Christmas carols, pull out the decorations and go to town!  I got a start yesterday with the help of my friend, who just happens to be my neighbor across the the street from me.  We made a few trips to our favorite second hand shops to check out any Christmas treasures we might have missed on our last hunts. Was a good day!  Many more treasures found there way into these shops since out last hunt and were put to good use. As the treasures were turned into vignettes the inside began to take on the magic of the season.

Memories of our junket to Georgia are being kept alive through facebook.  Linda’s pictures are great.  Mine?  Slow to come.  I put them in the computer from the camera and poof! I know they’re in there somewhere but  try and find to download to my home page.  Well, will ask my sister for help today.  I did get some nice photos, if I can just get them posted……….

  1. Hi “Mum” Watching Archie look out the window at the snow. Do you think he remembers being out in that stuff instead in here with us where it’s warm and toasty?

    1. yes.. my little Priestess…I’m sure he still can feel the sting of the cold as he searched for a warm place to get up off the wet stuff.

  2. Maybe if I ask him about it he’ll tell us? I think I’ll try when he get up from his nap on that pink puffy thing you gave him to snooze on. Agh…pink for a tough sassy ol’ meany like him.
