today was supposed to be clean, scrub and laundry.  Ooh, I am so easily sidetracked! Sue and I went to Uncle Mike’s for bread with a side trip to one of our favorite second hand shops. Loads of finds.  The whole shop done up for Christmas with tons of super little bits of this and that for putting vinettes’ together. That’s all it took to move on to the next favorite haunt for more treasures and of course we found them. As we worked our why back home with more stops, the back seat full and my checkbook considerable empty, our day seemed complete with the fun of the hunt

These unplanned journeys make life so much fuller.  Sharing times with a friend on a cloudy misty day in October that was above normal temperature gave me space in my heart to know memories like this will last.
