made it! Columbus Georgia. Drove all day yesterday to Louisville Kentucky and went to the evening races at Church Hill Downs.  and! won on the 2 dollar bets we made,  enough for Linda a beer, me a coffee, a tip for the shuttle driver and still some in our pockets when we got back to the hotel.  Was hoarse from hollering and screaming.  What great fun. Drove all day today with a few stops for water and fuel and a walk.  10 hrs. on the road. Nice apt. type room with stove and refrig.

Tired but happy and Linda is a great driver and a fun companion to travel with……
